The nose has a skunky-ass rotten sulfur bunghole dioxide note to it. The palate is ok, lots of cherry Capri-sun action with maybe a little fake blueberry notes. The finish leaves a bitter, unpleasant, tannic grime. This was a cheap bottle and probably something drinkable in most circles. But for me I’d have to pass on this bottle.

High acidity brought unneccessary tartness. The body was thin and watery. The flavor profile was not what I'm use to with Petite Sirah. My favorite Petite Sirahs have a very thick (heavy) body, explosions of flavors, and lots of velvety tannins. For the price ($29), this wine was an astronomical disapointment. The body wasn't any thicker than low quality Merlot, the flavor profile was both off and dull, and the tannins were unrefined.
