Yellowtail Shiraz
(over 2 years ago)Boring, without character, rather flat. Very modest body and taste. Inoffensive.
Yellowtail Shiraz
(over 2 years ago)Dull. Not interesting. Simple is not always bad, but this time it is. Slightly acidic. Very thin. Slightly sweet. Would only recommend as cooking wine.

(over 2 years ago)Just as eastwestgirl said, this wine is both slightly acidic and sweet. I'm not going to buy this again for drinking purposes, but I might consider it as a cooking wine. There are a lot of other great wines out there in the same price range ($10-15 Canadian dollars).
Yellowtail Shiraz
(over 2 years ago)Simple wine, not a strong flavor. Goes with a lot of things. A bargain in my opinion.
Yellowtail Shiraz
(over 2 years ago)Wonderful cheap at home dinner wine. Good aftertaste and lots of body.

(over 2 years ago)Easy-drinking, good body, a weeknight wine. Like the caramel notes.
Yellowtail Shiraz
(about 1 year ago)Neither great, not offensive, Yellow Tail Shiraz has become my standard "bar wine" -- it's common in Austin bars and restaurants, and when I want something inoffensive to drink when everyone else has their beer or margaritas it's available.
Yellowtail Shiraz
(9 months ago)A decent shiraz, but nothing to get a woody about. Full bodied and somewhat chewy with hints of nutmeg and oak. Mild tannins make for easy drinkability, but it's lacking in complexity. Pretty good given the ubiquity and low price.
