This wine smells like chocolate covered raisins, dirt, and mint leaves. The taste is dry and sour. The mid palate has a dusty feel and the finish goes from sweet to sour. On it's own the wine tastes a little off balance, but it pairs beautifully with chicken marsala.

On the nose I got marashino cherries and that's it. The wine itself was fairly light with very light tanins. Probably not suitable as a tasting wine, but perhaps good with a light meal.

Plump and juicy. Very simple, rustic wine with pleasant acidity. Perfect for the table.

Appearance is a dark purple. It has a definitive fruity taste...concorde grape with a hint of strawberry. It is well balanced and smooth. I paired it with chicken alfredo.
