This wine has a beautiful deep clean red color. You will notice the berry fruit aromas as soon as you open the bottle. It is generous on the palette and has supple, velvety finish.

I have heard it has good aging potential and can be enjoyed for several years after the vintage date.

Starting at around $7, it can't be bet. Robust refined flavors at wholesale prices. Excellent wine for entertaining. It may even charm some white wine purists into having a glass.

You've seen this on on the shelves a hundred times and you passed it by every single time. But I'm here to say this wine has its place. Sure, it's not the greatest Bordeaux ever, but try cooking with it. Seriously. Maybe a splash in your tomato sauce. Oh yeah. Totally works. The nice thing is that it will stay good long after you opened it. Mine has been open roughly four months and it's fine. Put a dash in the sauce in this has served it purpose. Recommended - but for cooking, not so much drinking.
