Saint Jean Du Barroux L'oligocene 2003
(about 1 year ago)Excellent. A complex, balanced wine with a strong cherry component that is not overpowering. It's hard to believe that something as smooth as this has such a high alcohol content (15%). This is as good as many Chateauneuf du Papes that are double the price.

(about 1 year ago)This stuff is great. An amazing amount of cherries. Some black pepper also. Beautiful finish. Paired great with lamb. I had the 2004 and it is very similar, but I think that it is even better.
