A little dry, but still has some fruit on the palate. Definitely gamey, as if blood was mixed in. Kind of like the smell of raw steak, but mainly only in the nose. On the palate, it is mostly berry and oak. Rather smooth and surprisingly pleasing with a steak, but do not recommend with cheese or something light.

Dark color. Not an over-sweet nose. which is something I approve of. Dark fruit on the palate, weak finish. No strong tannins, but they are there.
