Decent for the price (especially since I got to taste it for free)- didn't take detailed notes as I was in a hurry. Tried it right at the beginning of a tasting so might benefit from being open longer.

Fruit-forward but not a flavor bomb. Also, not as chewy as expected. Color was deep ruby. The nose revealed hints of old vanilla bean and wet mitten. Flavor was balanced, though not too complex. Picked up on a little mocha coffee and currant. Evolved into grape jelly on the tail end which cheapened the finish. Tannins were bouncing around my gums, but not out of control.

It was enjoyable and I'd drink it again, but it wouldn't be my first choice.

This wine was pretty tasty and great for the price. Nothing spectacular, but nothing to complain about either.

Dark fruit on the forefront with a transition into some dark chocolate and tobacco, light-medium tannins. Very nice wine for the $$
