1 hr open bottle. Hints of vanilla and berries on the nose and loads of black cherry on the tongue. Medium color with relatively strong tannins but a disappointing finish.

Candied nose with loads of stewed plums, black cherries, milk chocolate, light espresso tones and a rosemary hint. In the mouth there is a predominance of black cherries and milk chocolate, with dry refined tannins and a cauliflower/plum jam medium finish.

Nice- berries and chocolate on the nose, huge sour cherry on the palate with some chocolate/milk/vanilla creaminess. Got a hint of dark fruit - plum or blueberry maybe - as well. A tiny bit of heat from the alcohol. Overall, a good buy and fairly versatile with food. I don't think I liked this one as much as the '05 but it's still a great value zinfandel.

blackberry& jammy - exactly what I like in a zin. smooth finish makes for a nice drinking wine but goes well with pot-roast too.
