Muga Reserva 2002
(over 2 years ago)Very nice, carrying even, light-yet-filling red tones with a clear sense of cherry, strawberry and cask.
Muga Reserva 2002
(about 1 year ago)well-rounded Rioja, equally at home with light appetizers and hearty meals. pleasant after opening, but sharper tannins fade and give way to a dark rich fruit underbelly toward the bottom of the glass.
Muga Reserva 2002
(about 1 year ago)Love at first sight!. Eye: Intense red plum color. Nose: Very mature red currant, casis, berries and plum (yet again) with hints of oak, coffee and some spices. Mouth: Full bodied, long presence and fruity aftertaste, complex and with a great finesse. I would recommend this wine for beef cuts, lamb, deer and argentinian asado.
