medium dark color. the nose on this shoots me straight to my childhood and the county fair, walking through the stables where they kept the pigs and cows for judging. there's also some secondary whiffs of tobacco and brussel sprouts. the palate begins with a flash of veggies (V8) and a hint of dirt. quickly transitions to blackberry and blueberry in the mid. firm tannins. medium dry. medium bodied. the finish comes in a bit awkward with some bitterness but then leaves a dark fruit on the lips as well as some brussel sprouts on the tongue which lasts for up to a minute. also secondary cigar tobacco and a slight olive oil texture.
