Classic French wine. Made me remember living in France. The only problem is that this wine would be $3 in France and it is $15 here. It has that old world charm, and sophistication, but it has the bad teeth too. I don't usually do this in metaphor form, but I can't even really concentrate on the wine. The thing that is striking about this wine is that it gets worse with each mouthful. It is probably a bad thing for this wine that I am reviewing it at the end of the night, because it has gone way south since it was opened. It is now to the gross stage, and I may have to open a bottle of something else, just to cover it up. Anyway, I will stop here. This wine is a nostalgic one for me, because it is on this sort of wine that I learned to enjoy wine. I just wish it were better.

Very tight on the nose, sharp acidity. Was better after 24 hours, but not great depth of flavor.
