This is a huge wine! It is dark, like black hole dark. Powerful and intense red and black berry flavors come through. Soft mouthfeel and really jammy at the same time.

Fruity and epicly powerful, but very palatable and smooth, really a blast of flavors.

Note: Decant this one. Opened up nicely after sitting for a few days. Color: Dark Purple. Nose: Medium-full to full. The nose is predominantly blueberries and black licorice. Flavor: Very full from start to finish. Big dark fruit flavors all over the midpalate, while a blast of spiciness shows after the fruit. Finish: Nice tannins grab the sides of the tongue while dark fruit and oak occupy the back of the mouth for a good while. I wonder what this would taste like in a couple of years.

Wow, this is a great Aussie wine. Beautiful dark color with a fantastic nose of raspberry, black cherry and dark fruit. Full bodied and loaded with dark fruit and elegant tannins. Worth every penny! At 16% alcohol, you better be ready. I think this wine would stand up to any steak or meat dish or is great by itself.
