(over 2 years ago)A very nice amarone with a solid, gentle taste throughout.

(about 1 year ago)Without a doubt the Campofiorin Ripasso Rosso del Veronese ('03) gives the best bang for the buck from all of the red wines of the Valpolicella region. It's almost as good as some of Masi's two or three times as expensive bottles.

(about 1 year ago)Dark ruby color with immediate, full fruit impresssions, lingering darker berries, notably cherry, with hints of raspberry, raisins, licorice, vanilla, cinnamon and clove. Shows off extremely good tannins that linger in the mouth. Clean and subtle, really rewarding when complementing a fresh pasta dish. The ripasso method of double fermentation (adding semi-dried Corvina grapes from the following vintage), deepens the color, intensifies all flavors and adds complex layers that continue to evolve in the glass and especially with more years in the bottle, likely making it velvety and smooth, as well.

(about 1 year ago)Good value. Classic valpolicella nose - floral. Nice medium body. Moderate finish. Always a solid pick

(about 1 year ago)extremly floral nose, it is Valpolicella with out a doubt. Corvina is becoming on of my favorite wine grapes. The mouth feel is medium bodied thats why I cant give ti a higher score but WOW this thing has me going crazy.

(6 months ago)If you can find this baby you should really consider picking her up…she is haunting and majestic like an Italian Princess but priced for the mere pauper. http://www.justagrape.com/masi-campofiorin-ripasso-rosso-del-veronese-italy-2003/
