Nose: a bit musky, maybe smoky, tropical, pineapple, distinct papaya. Taste: a bit sweet on the approach, which was unexpected, but not too much. Fairly light and a bit bitter on the midpalate. Delicious cooked apples and pears on the finish and lingering tropical fruit. I'd swear this was a chardonnay.
