Well, I'd probably give it a 4.8. Well, for a Brunello at this price maybe a 4.9. Nobody gets a 5 in my book! I met the producer at Vinitaly and he wasn't your usual "Brunello Snob". Defintely needs to be decanted an hour or two before. Plummy on the nose, just the right amount of tannins. Brunellos are typically drunk with juicy Florentine steak but I like to drink them on their own so nothing can infringe on the tasting experience.
