Pago de los capellanes 2004
(10 months ago)Very nice. amazing amount of plum on the nose when the bottle first opened. The nose flattened out a bit as it decanted, but kept a good amount of fruit, along with a good amount of earthy tones. Nice tanins, and good structure overall. Just a very pleasant old world wine, with a new world kick. This is a nice solid wine that would go well with any meal that required a hearty old world wine.
