"Tasted on 12/16/07 for the 3rd time this year and once again this sparkler has blown my mind, a massive bubbler and one that has an enormous amount of Lemon grass and apple tarts. The long acidic finish coupled with the small and enticing bubbles makes this one of the finest efforts under $30 of the year, a wine that has scored over 90 points many of times but forgeting scores a Champagne that rocks ...hard!"-Gary Vaynerchuk

Definite citrus (sweet grapefruit) on the nose, but with a very light buttery aspect. I honestly did not think I would like this wine as much, because the nose is a bit sharp. The butter really comes out on the palate, this champagne has just replaced my fav (00 Louis Roederer Rose)... Tons of bubbles, beautiful citrus, but not nearly as overpowering as I first thought. Carmel aspect that takes the edge off the acidity, but does not diminish. What I feel is a perfect balance of sweet and tart. This wine has a smoothness and elegance that belies its price point, like the girlfriend that is totally hot, knows it, and is still not presumptuous.
