In France, life is rather casual and free of constraints: sidewalk cafes, conversations, or lingering walks..."sans souci" meaning carefree, no problems, no worries. Whether the complications of the world economics or vineyard identifications, Jacques' Sans Souci is your simple and oh so pleasurable companion with food and friends. Sans Souci. 50% Sauvignon Blanc, 30% Semillon, 20% Muscadelle

(6 months ago)Very light, straw color in the glass. Slight hint of lemon peel and some tropical fruit notes on the nose. Very, very light bodied on the palate, nice little bit of acidity on the finish, but lacking any real distinguishing flavor profile. That said, it is what it is, and what it is is a nice "pool wine," something I can see myself drinking a lot of as the temperatures rise here in Florida. It is quite tasty, in very much a wine-cooler fashion, minus the overt sweetness.
