Alamos Torrontes 2007
(about 1 year ago)This is the first torrontes I've tried, and I can guarantee that it won't be the last. For the price, its really amazing. The nose has a great citrus-meets-banana aspect to it, and the taste is full of the same citrus flavors, transitioning to a big honking bite of granny smith at the end.

(8 months ago)Nice golden color. Aroma was amazing. Lots of lemon with some other components I couldn't really put my finger on. On the palate, well, I can only describe it as what I imagine lemon Pledge tastes like. It's pretty darn dry and the lemon really overpowers it for me. Crispness is nice, but overall, this just wasn't my cup of tea. Others above seem to like it so all I can say is try it for yourself.
