Sagelands Holiday Cuvee 2002 Cabernet Sauvignon

I would abuse santa if he brought me this holiday cuvee. Graced with a magnum one day this thing disappointed. The nose is decent, brings some red meat, a little cherry pipe tobacco in the holiday spirit, not a bad start. The midpalate on this wine is just not pleasant. Extremely awkward like biting into some bad soap. God, this is abhorrent. The finish brings some sour cream and red wine vinegar, almost like a half-ass attempt at a beef stroganoff by someone who simply can’t cook. A major pass in my book. Dump this in the bin and try again.
