A really solid bottle of wine. Dark fruit, licorice, maybe a hint of chocolate on the nose, some nice strawberry and dark fruits on the palate. good tannins - not overpowering but give the wine a really solid structure. It would probably go really well with some big foods - i think of braised short ribs or lamb.

Very nice strawberry nose for days. Very complex flavors on the palate. Brief smokey wood, campfire with a balanced acid finish.

Lets try it with some food...

Wow! Creamier and more intense smokiness. We'll give it a couple points for the food pairing. Nice!
