This is a bordeaux not a pinot noir! (I can't get the varietal to change - sorry!!) Wine was very extracted and a deep dark purple. The nose was full of dark cherry and currant. The flavors were jam packed dark cherry currant and vanilla. The tannins are fine grained now and well integrated. Should only improve in the cellar.

Structure, texture, flavors are all as good as can be. One flaw is the heat. I thought 03 was good, nevermind that shit; 04 Maximus is better than their Cabernet. A seemless blend that drinks well out of its price range.
