Genesis 2004 Merlot by Hogue Cellars
(10 months ago)cherry, full-bodied, drier than most merlots but same roundness, a little mint, pine flavors, great finish, this one gives Merlot a good name

(10 months ago)Bottle open 1 hr. The terroir is fantastic. Black cherry and vanilla aromas with flavors of Cassis and tobacco with a musty old trunk aftertaste. Great finish. Will be cellaring a few of these. At $18.99cdn, this is fantastic value.

(10 months ago)kinda flabby. Maybe I decanted for too long? Nice mouthfeel, but lacks deliciousness and elegance. Kinda harsh and not very merlot-like at all.
