I really enjoyed this wine. It was crispy with a good honeydew flavor. I can't say that I have tasted a lot of chenin blanc, but I hear this wine lacks the typical minerally Loire characteristic -- though I wouldn't be any the wiser. It is a great value and something normally not on offer by domestic winemakers. Try it with ligher summer food and as the weather warms and especially if you would like to taste a non-typical California white.
