I can see why people love this Champagne, it is lacking any kind of tart fruit, tangy citrus or yeastiness. In fact as the wine warms in the glass there is a very pronounced sweetness to it, and that is not a flaw in any way...hey if sweetness gets more people drinking Champagne I say right on. For my hard earned Champagne dollars I want tart, toasty and tangy.

What can i say - a champagne that costs this much had better be five stars, and it is. Perhaps it's because I'm not an expert, but although this champagne is very good, I don't find it significantly better than a good $50 bottle such as Moet or Veuve.
