This may be remembered as the bottle who changed my mind about Californian Chardonnay. Beautiful fresh nose of ripe pear, sweet lime, orange blossom and hints of brioche and banana peel. In the mouth it has a very pleasant acidity, it is not coating like many of the buttery Chards you find in California and follows the nose beautifully with nice minerality and a sweet accent. Beautiful...has some Viognier characteristics.
