Tolerable for the price, but I don't think I would repurchase. A little too tart & sour for my taste. As the back of the bottle suggests, it has spicy berry overtones. A short finish. Ok if you're just looking for a cheap, red generic wine to go with almost anything, that's not outright bad.

I must forewarn anyone reading this that I am doing my first review ever with a nasty cold. My taste and scent capacities may be somewhat altered or diminished! So here's my best effort. Berry, cherry and light tannin in the nose, which is young and fresh. The taste is light and acidic, with more tannic character. Some fruit, too, I think. I'll try some more when the rhinovirus has retreated.

For a cheap bottle of red wine, this wasn't half bad. The finish was smooth. Not overly sweet, either. Like the bottle.
