Paul Hobbs 2004 Pinot Noir
(over 2 years ago)The color on this wine is a beautiful bright ruby with fair concentration. The nose is highly aromatic along with the whiffs of alcohol. The palate is bright with effusive red fruits. There's some kind of spritzy mouthfeel that tastes unnatural. Lots of cherry, raspberry, maybe some pomegranate, clove & nutmeg. Personally, I think the alcohol offsets any hints of elegance but perhaps that will change will bottle time. As of now, two and a half. Drank 05/06
