A combination of berries, perhaps a little candied on the bouquet. A touch of oak and soft spice. Dark fruit again present, not highly fruity --it's just about right. Perhaps a touch of vanilla or cream. Medium body, slightly dry with very soft tannins. Feels slightly silky on the finish with fruit lingering. Nice all around drinking wine, very tasty, nearly delicious. Almost a thinking man's wine, but not so complex. Very nicely balanced wine for this price.
