Kenwood 2005 Zinfandel
(9 months ago)Dark barely see-through purple color. Fairly strong nose with large blackberry component. Fruity attack with a slightly sour evolution and a sweet finish. Dark-fruit jam and spice. Lots of tannin. It'd be hard to get through a glass of this without food.

(6 months ago)Purple color, not much aroma. Purple fruit with heavy tannins. Not very interesting, but good with bold foods like lamb and beef, or spicy dishes like Indian.
