from klwines.com: Lost Canyon's Stage Gulch Vineyard Syrah is produced from fruit grown on the cool Sonoma Coast, known for its cool ocean breezes, fogging mornings and sunny afternoons that allow for a longer hangtime. Deep purple in color, the Stage Gulch is a bit tightly-wound right now, but its vibrant acidity and complex tannic structure and balance of dark fruit, tobacco, leather and Crozes-Hermitage-like spice should help it age beautifully. Lay this one down for a few years and reap the rewards!
