from winelibrary.com: "Fans of Vacqueryas and Gigondas will love this awesome value. Lots of pretty blackberry, black cherry, black currant, cassis and plum come together with a slighly smokey, chalky finish. Medium in body and weight, this really delivers for the price."... from GV: 91+ pts. - Gary Vaynerchuk #1; COLOR-dark; NOSE-unbelievablely interesting; Halloweend candy bag filled w/ chocolate dust & strawberries; loose tobacco; heavy on the cherries & black pepper; very intiguing nose; TASTE-huge massive dark blackberries; hints of cherry; massive amount of gorgeous tobacco (the dominant force of this wine; hint of black pepper; beautiful cherries; interesting blackberry/black currant component on the initial attack; great mid-palate transition; nice sour cherry and nice dryness; a lot of flavor & explosive; when it was decanted longer, it showed more floral aspects; great food wine; little bit of licorice; GV-91+

Massive syrupy strawberries on the nose - like the kind for redneck strawberry shortcake. A really pretty wine, though I personally would've enjoyed more weight on the mid-palate.
