Colonia Las Liebres 2005 Bonarda
(over 2 years ago)Full, with dark fruit and a considerable bite.
Colonia Las Liebres 2005 Bonarda
(over 2 years ago)It started off with some good fruit, but the tannins and acidity made the finish a bit funky. It got an 86 by Wine Advocate and 87 by Wine Spectator.

(over 2 years ago)This wine is fun, but isn't very complicated. It's fruity without being too sweet. I wish the flavor had more going on.
Colonia Las Liebres 2005 Bonarda
(about 1 year ago)Black fruit on the nose although somewhat muted. Juicy in the mouth....a little disjointed. Hot on the finish. Good QPR. Good solid everyday table wine.

(10 months ago)For the price this is an excellent value wine. The bouquet is primarily dark fruit with a little dirt and floral notes backing up the jam. Decent body out of a sleeper grape varietal, pleasant plum, licorice and raspberry flavors which continue through the mid palate and into the finish which is decent at this price point. The alcohol is balanced, acidity decent for food and tannins are soft and a bit out of focus. A good drinker to have on hand.

(6 months ago)Excellent value. Well balanced. Interesting bubble gum flavor. Rather light bodied, but in a good way. Sort of like Cabernet Sauvignon Light.
