Taja Reserva 2003
(5 months ago)Fruity taste of the mourverdre came through with interesting structural notes from the cab sauv. The tempranillo added some bright red cherry.
Taja Reserva 2003
(about 1 month ago)Very enjoyable wine. The nose was not incredibly expansive on the start, but some fruit (strawberry?) and chocolate smells were evident. The taste was full of cherries from beginning through the mid-palate, and had some very nice black pepper and tobacco on the end. The wine was nicely balanced with good tannins that did not overwhelm the taste.
