La Crema 2006 Chardonnay
(9 months ago)Very good for the price. Nice nose of pears, apples and some vanilla and lemon. The midpalate is packed with kettle korn flavors and then it transforms into Butterscotch and lemon peel at the very end of the finish.

(6 months ago)Oak coming through as cream and vanilla. Some citrus notes. Some over ripe pear in there too. I had seem someone describe the aroma as having a kettle corn component and I agree with that. Some decent acidity gives it some structure on the palate. Overall, not bad.
La Crema 2006 Chardonnay
(6 months ago)On the nose, apple, pear and a hint of citrus. Very smooth, with beautiful pears on the palate, a little classic Cali buttered oakiness, and huge buttered popcorn flavors on the mid-palate. Finish tapers slowly with lemon peel dominant. There is definitely a little "hotness" on the finish, and that hurts this wine a bit, and keeps me from going any higher than a 90. Overall, a very solid effort and a very enjoyable Chardonnay
La Crema 2006 Chardonnay
(3 months ago)Enjoyed it with a Bay Shrimp Louis and Avocado salad and some nice chewy San Francisco sourdough. Butterscotch and lemon on the nose. There was something floral in there, too, but I don't know what. I tasted butter and pears on the palate. Like the other reviewers, I thought the finish was dominant with lemon...some might find this off-putting, but it was great with the meal I had.
La Crema 2006 Chardonnay
(3 months ago)A Delicious wine with bright fruit that balances the oak nicely. Enough creaminess to give it a refreshing milkiness without making the wine flabby.
La Crema 2006 Chardonnay
(22 days ago)Light gold color, creamy butter and wood on the nose with hints of caramel and stone fruits. Med – body, smooth and mouth coating, woody with some green character (sweet peas) on the palate and light balanced fruit. Moderate finish, but lacking the roundness of their ’03 & ’04 vintages.
