Wood smoke, barbeque, cherry cola. Big tannins.

Color: Nothing special, nice dark maroon Smell: I'm with Gary V on this one I'm smelling the "New Nikes!" Normally I think he's off his rocker when he says weird stuff like that but this time it's in there! I also get a bit of strawberries, and a very faint touch of basil. Taste: Cherry & Raspberry royal rumble in the beginning but it tales off with good tannins and a nice white pepper finish. For the price...buy a case let it sit..in a couple of years the explosive start will tame down

Really enjoyed this one. Loved the raspberries on the nose. The cherry flavors, with spice and maybe some herbs - basil or mint, were just really pleasant. nice tannins - not too overpowering - very drinkable. I'd buy this again.

Color: Dark, inky maroon, little light coming through. Nose: Dark Cherries, banana bread, toffee, cinnamon, little oaky vanilla characteristic. Palate: Juicy and smooth first attack. A smokey spicey cherry juice with tannic back end. Very easy to drink, balanced wine that didn't go over-the-top and could have. Lingering finish.
