Le Tendance Bordeaux Rose 2006
(about 1 year ago)Color: Translucent Salmon. Nose: Caramel apple, nail polish remover, a hint of butter, and a hint of lemon detergent. Palate: Very smooth, easy drinking, heavy bodied for a rose. Lingering finish, dry, a bit flabby--i expected more crispness. Not a huge fan of roses unless they are of the bubbly variety.

(about 1 year ago)Color: Salmon Smell: Closed nose, but hints of cherry cough medicine, strawberry, and lemon zest Taste: Heavy/thick for a rose that is really heavy on the mouth feel. Flavors of fresh strawberry from the vine and yellow bell pepper are very evident . Good acid helps keep it light in the mouth feel (like a good rose should) even though the flavors attack the pallet like a big Chard. Good but for the price you can find better.

(about 1 year ago)Nose is not very intense. Old / cooked apples. Just a hint of sweetness. Longish finish.

(about 1 year ago)raspberries - tight, crushed leaves for dry rose, i prefer vina aljibes
Le Tendance Bordeaux Rose 2006
(about 1 year ago)I enjoyed this wine quite a bit. On the nose, I got chalk, strawberries, and cotton candy. For taste, I agreed with GV and got the leafy cherries. There was also a strawberry component. I found this very drinkable and perfectly delicious, but it loses serious points for the price in my book. It was only a tiny bit more structured and polished than the Chateau La Roque Cuvée Tradition Rosé, which I can buy at a shop near me for six dollars. The difference is not worth that extra $14.

(12 months ago)My first dry, heavy rose. The weight on this wine was comparable to a SB or chard!

(11 months ago)Very heavy for a rose, and quite nice, strawberries a hint of raspberries and a very floral flavor profile, dry. Kind of a tight nose for me, someone else mentioned detergent, which I can smell, but not a lot more than that. .

(10 months ago)Weak nose. I like that it is dry, but too much like white wine rather than red like I prefer. If it were a white wine, I think it is alright, but nothing special.
