Definitely overcomes Merlot's reputation of being wimpy. An "everlating gobstopper". Highly expressive with a complex nose followed by an equally interesting, rich, silky palate composed of many layers. Beutifully balanced cherries, dark chocolate, with a hint of nuts and spice... Perfectly oaked. Euphoric from nose to finish.
