Light tannins, a little anise in the nose. Smells a bit medicinal. The taste is kind of like red cotton candy - too sweet & bland. Drinkable, but not worth a second bottle even at this price. The Chard is much better.

Bad wine, but for $2.97 (which is what I paid) getting a bottle that actually taste like wine rather than spoiled Welch's grape juice is a treasure.
