Tasting Notes from Cork’d Members
Mike Weir Cabernet/ Merlot 2006
(about 1 month ago)Deep purple-ruby with a distinct, narrow rim. Aromatic nose showing black cherry, cassis, black licorice and vanilla. Dry with fresh acidity and firm tannins. This is a very well-balanced red with flavours that correspond nicely to the nose. A little bit of greenness is evident on the considerably lengthy finish. Good value.
