Le Sensuel 2005 Cotes De Bourg
(7 months ago)I found this wine to be very smoothe on the pallete but nothing over the top. A little thin with hints of oak peeking through. Overall not a bad bottle of wine but othing to get excited about.

(3 months ago)I was hoping for a bit more from this bottle. It was pleasant enough and drinkable but I've had better bordeaux. Not too complex. Maybe some plums and dark fruits on the nose, some greenness overall and some veggie components. Moderately tannic. Kind of awkward transitions. Basically nothing overwhelmingly bad, nothing overwhelmingly good.

(2 months ago)Dark fruits on the nose and palate - Loaded with black cherries and plumbs. Great smoothness, but only after the tannins have subsided. This wine MUST BE DECANTED to enjoy it thoroughly. The tannins are pretty harsh and will suck all the juice out of your cheeks if you drink this wine too early. Good value for the '05 Bordeaux vintage. Quite a pleasant drink, but don't expect epic or classic Bordeaux quality from this bottle.
