2003 Tormaresca Bocca di Lupo
(8 months ago)This is a world class bottle from southern Italy. Very round bold nose of small red fruits, spices, earth and a touch of vanilla. It follows in the mouth very well with dusty dry tannins and a potent but elegant midpalate of cherries, red fruits and licorice woody tones. Long creamy finish. A very well built wine that entirely showcases the potential of wines from Puglia.

(8 months ago)Great aroma. I am a sucker for aromatics. And this one is really nice. Exceptional flavors of berry, fruit,a little oak that slowly turns into a chocolate finish. Very nice wine. There is probably better value wines out there. I am pretty much batting a thousand with every Tormaresca I have tasted.
