I've enjoyed the 2005 & 2006 organic Syrahs, so when I discovered a Zin I bought it immediately. A GOOD decision! The nose is earthy and jammy, with plenty of tannin, tobacco, plum and berry. It's worth just sniffing for awhile. The taste is just as good; juicy as all get out. The tannins are prominent but balanced with other luscious flavors. This one is a treat, a feast, and by far the best Zin I've ever tasted under $10. I'll return tomorrow for more; some to enjoy right away, others to rack awhile.
