Clos Du Prieur 2005
(10 months ago)Purple red. Very nice dark cherry and strawberry nose that took more than an hour to open up. In mouth, dark chocolate, spices and black pepper, with bitter end. A little bit of heat on the nose. A little medicine cabinet on the nose.

(7 months ago)This wine takes a very long time to open up. Probably way too young to drink now. The tannins are too bitter for my taste, but after about 3 hours of decanting, this wine is a pleasure to smell. I liked the initial attack, but the finish suffered from the bitter tannins.
