Ca' Montini Pinot Grigio
(over 2 years ago)bewitching nose, very fruity, clean finish. one of the best white's we've had. takes some restraint not to gulp.
Ca' Montini Pinot Grigio
(over 2 years ago)My favorite white wine(at least in this price range), its crisp without being overly flowery or sweet. Closer to the freshness of apples or pears. I think I'll buy a case next chance I get.
Ca' Montini Pinot Grigio
(over 2 years ago)My all-time favorite Pinot Grigio. Crisp, not too sweet. So yummy!
Ca' Montini Pinot Grigio
(about 1 year ago)Medium straw color. Medium-plus intensity nose is of pear, apple, faint white flowers, hint of fresh mineral component. No oak detected. Meduim-bodied, fresh acidity, crisp. Initial flavors of green apple, young green pear, lemon juice give way to a wet stone and steely minerality (and hints of the white flowers and lemon) in the medium-plus finish. Overall, nice texture, clean flavors, nice finish, nice wine, but not too terribly complex. Would be good with snapper dressed with just lemon, olive oil, capers and dill.

(about 1 year ago)Had this wine at dinner the other night. Fantastic Pinot Grigio. Great nose of Granny Smith Apple and Fresh Pear. Right off a strong blast of green apple and a little lemon peel and a very stoney mineral finish. Paired almost perfectly with a Shrimp and goat cheese fettucine. Not the most complex or interesting wine but for 15.00 cannot go wrong. Great Summer Wine
