Spicy with some hints of dark berries and fruit. Weak finish. Overall, fairly uninteresting.

Santa Rita 2004 Cabernet Sauvignon

Some oak on the nose. Hint of varnish. Some green & red peppers. Nice attack with bright chocolate covered cherries. Transitions to an awkward midpalate. Lackluster finish. Serviceable. A fine table wine. Good fruit, average production. Note- After open 1 day, this wine improved alot. Blackberry & liquorice. More dry. The awkward midpalate has disappeared.
