Santa Rita 2004 Cabernet Sauvignon
(over 2 years ago)Spicy with some hints of dark berries and fruit. Weak finish. Overall, fairly uninteresting.
Santa Rita 2004 Cabernet Sauvignon
(8 months ago)Some oak on the nose. Hint of varnish. Some green & red peppers. Nice attack with bright chocolate covered cherries. Transitions to an awkward midpalate. Lackluster finish. Serviceable. A fine table wine. Good fruit, average production. Note- After open 1 day, this wine improved alot. Blackberry & liquorice. More dry. The awkward midpalate has disappeared.
