Very light, fruity. I agree with the previous reviewer though. This was very light, almost a very weak finish. It wasn't very remarkable. Perhaps I got a bad bottle as well. Considering how inexpensive it was, I might give it a second try.

Last night it was my first French Gewurztraminer; tonight my first Italian Pinot Noir. I'm getting confused... A little smoky wood in the nose, with faint tannins & anise. Delicate and crisp. The taste is VERY light, and not particularly interesting. Pleasant, but thin and nearly bodyless. Not bad, but not worth buying again, IMO.

UPDATE ON 9/25/2008!! I did buy it again, and liked it a lot more the second time. Bad first bottle, or just more in the mood for a light Pinot Noir? Regardless, I raised my score a bit.
