Out of the bottle nose of a little fruit and a bit of earth. Really, quite tannic and a bit hot. Much more than I expected. A bit wound up but full. Licorice finish. Too tannic for casual drinking. It'd chew your meal for you. After a night under vacuum it was better, but nothing exciting. Tasted like a basic syrah. Still a bit of alchohol.
