Deep red color with lots of fruit in the nose, plus some leather. Earthy quality joins the dark red fruit taste on the palate, so I was not surprised to find it's a Grenache blend (with Syrah) I liked it very much, even more than the other French wines in the tasting flight, some of which cost about 7 times the price of this one.
