Acacia A Chardonnay 2006
(8 months ago)To me, smells better than it tastes. Definitely papaya on the nose, smells like a bouquet of fresh tropical fruit. The onset is sweet but becomes bitter and tannic through the mid-pal to the finish. A little too bitter for me, and I even take my coffee without sugar!

(8 months ago)Very nice bouquet upfront with sweetness; do get a sense of fruit such as papaya. Finish tends to be slightly bitter though not very bad. Oak is present, though not heavy. This is definitely NOT the usual syrupy, oak heavy CA chardonnay. Ok for the price! Drinkable and not objectionable.
